The static DC of Aid is a bit of an issue. When I get to run my own home campaign I plan to make the Aid DC base DC -5 since helping someone with an action would be easier than doing the action yourself. This has the added benefit of making Aid viable in the early game, thus establishing it as an option in play early on.
